L.A. Care Health Plan and Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan are here to serve you! Our Centers offer in-person health and wellness classes that are fun, free and open to everyone. We’re dedicated to the health and safety of our visitors, so come by your local center and see the great things we have to offer.
In September 2019, L.A. Care and Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan invested $146 million in a community resource center expansion, with a commitment to jointly operate 14 locations. The centers offer free exercise, nutrition, and health education classes to members and the community, along with social needs support such as food pantries.
The main goals of the CRCs are to build active, healthy, informed communities, and to serve as a safe, fun, and inclusive community resource.
